Member FAQ

One must be nominated by an active member to receive an application.

To nominate a potential member, members can use the 'nomination' form on the SV app or website portal and submit their nominations. From here, an application will be sent to the candidate. Although a nomination does not guarantee acceptance, it is the only way to be invited to apply.

If you apply and don't hear from the Membership Committee within 6 weeks, this means that you have been waitlisted. If you are waitlisted, please don’t inundate us with requests for updates on your pending membership status. Try instead to seek out current members who are willing to nominate youMembers are able to submit nominations directly from their SV mobile app, the SV website or by reaching out to the SV Membership Team. Multiple nominations from members will significantly enhance your prospects of becoming a member. 

Your SV membership is non transferrable.

Access to all clubs requires a Global Membership, which can be requested at the time you apply. Please contact membership@sanvicenteclubs.com for more information. 

All members, regardless of global or single club status, may make room reservations via the San Vicente App at San Vicente Bungalows in West Hollywood and Hotel 850 SVB. Members may also book a hotel room for a friend at any property at a sponsored rate. Booking a room also permits you or your sponsored guest access to dine and enjoy all of the club's amenities and attend programming events. 

Children of all ages are allowed to come for Saturday and Sunday brunch. At all other times the club is restricted to guests 18 and older.

We encourage individuality, but members and their guests are encouraged to be respectful in their choice of attire, and the club reserves the right to publish updated dress requirements from time to time.

Never Permitted: 
- Ripped or torn denim pants or shorts
- Flip flops
- Men’s sleeveless shirts or tank tops
- Excessively revealing attire 

Never Permitted in Main Dining Rooms, Bar or Lounge Areas:
- Baseball hats
- Shorts (with the exception of women’s tailored shorts)
- Athletic sweatpants

Not Permitted After 11am:
 
- Athletic or workout wear

Conditionally Permitted: 
- Baseball hats, presentable sweatpants and shorts may be worn in outdoor areas only, and in the indoor roof area at SV West Village.


SV values privacy. Members and guests are expected to respect the privacy of others – we ask that no one be approached or interrupted unless the interaction is clearly welcomed by all parties.

That said, we are a social club and we simply ask that all parties are respectful of one and other.

The best way to meet and mingle with fellow SV members is by attending our Member Programming Events.

Only members are invited to reserve bungalows for themselves or a guest. As an alternative, we have a sister property, Hotel 850 SVB, that is located directly across the street and open to the public. Members are welcome to book a stay by reaching out to reservations.weho@sanvicenteclubs.com

By adding a secondary contact person to your Membership, you consent to allowing them to request and cancel dining reservations on your behalf as well as allowing them to request receipts and update payment methods. 

Our freeze policy allows members to freeze their membership once a year, and requires members to be up-to-date on their renewal dues before freezing. Freezes must be a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 6 months, and the freeze must be requested no later than 1 month before your next dues renewal.

Members are welcome to bring up to 2 Guests without a dining reservation. A dining reservation must be made in advance if you wish to arrive with 3 Guests or more, space permitting. Members may bring up to 6 guests to The Bar, but seating will not be guaranteed.

All Guests agree to our Code of Conduct upon entering the club and must put stickers provided by the Front Desk Team on their cell phone cameras.

Guests of Members can enter the Club prior to the Member’s arrival, however Guests cannot order until the Member is present. If the Member does not arrive within 15 minutes of their registered Guests being seated, the Guests may be asked to return to the Front Desk to await the Member's arrival so that the table may be utilized for a present party.

Members must stay with their Guests at all times. Once a Member departs, their Guests must leave with them.

All Guests must be 18+, with the exception during Brunch on Saturdays & Sundays.

We hold members accountable for their guests behavior.

Members may use a credit card or their house account to pay for valet, guests may pay with a credit card. No cash is accepted.  

No dogs or other pets (with the exception of recognized service animals assisting persons with disabilities) are permitted on the SV premises. To the extent dogs are permitted on the premises, they must be on a leash no longer than six feet in length at full extension and must remain on the floor at all times. 

Members and their guests are prohibited from taking photos anywhere inside the club. Posting images of the club on social media or discussing anything that members and their guests witness during their visit is strictly forbidden. The only exceptions are at private events and member programming events. 
 

Members and guests are expected to respect the privacy of others. It is strictly forbidden to discuss anything that members or their guests witness during their visit. We also sticker non-members phones to remind them not to take photos and videos. 

Only members can host or sponsor events. If you are a member and want to learn more about events, please reach out to events.weho@sanvicenteclubs.com and someone from our events team will assist you. 

Photography is permitted for private events. If you rent out a space, you may take photos and post them!


Membership renews automatically on an annual rolling basis.

Indoor vs. outdoor will always be accommodated but we do not guarantee specific areas of the club nor do we take specific table requests. Every location is designed to make your dining experience as welcoming and pleasant as possible.
